free music for your computer!What are free ways to download music onto your computer?

I've been using Limewire for years now, and have recommended it to all my friends. I had no problems using it. Yet, my friend owns a Mac and believes her computer crashed because of a possible virus she got using Limewire.

My question is: do you know any other ways to download free music without any P2P softwares? Like a website where you can download anything you want?

Please don't tell me anything like Bittorrent, Limewire, ...

Well yes i will say lime wire because if you download a song it goes straight into the library. All the songs in the library go onto your documents in to the shared file so look for the shared file in your documents and you will the shared file somewhere and then all the songs that where in your library will be in the shared file.

There are tons of way to download music and even video or music + video together.

First of all, let me ask. Do you like youtube and its video music? If so you can download the video music you like using Youtube Downloader.

you just need to add the direct link of your favorite video and waha! lol

ITunes has freebies every Tuesday and the public library has cd's for checkout all the time.

Most of my music comes from the library. I order what I want in mass quantity online then pick up the cd's when the library emails me that they're holding them. 100% virus free.

They carry all of the latest music and usually have quite a few copies of new releases so you get them pretty fast.

I honestly don't agree with this whole illegal music trend that is going on. I think that it is stealing to take music from another PC through P2P (as that is how P2P works - it lets others browse music and software on your PC and takes it from you). It is wrong to take advantage of the internet like that and you should not be doing it.
